When Sana started performing in public she seemed healthy with a little chubby face which was sort of circular in form. This indicated that she was gaining weight.
Despite gaining weight Sana never seemed bothered by it or stressed about her appearance, she showed a positive and self-loving attitude whenever in public.
Sana is loved by her fans no matter her appearance, in fact, most of them found her weight gain cute.
In 2015, Sana competed in a show called SIXTEEN to become an Idol under JYP. On top of that, she was one of the only 3 Japanese contestants, the pressure was so much on her.

Most K-pop stars have an amazing physique and this is because of their active and healthy lifestyle. Their performances require them to do different dance moves which sometimes take almost one to two hours of practice.
So I can clearly say that dancing was Sana’s first exercise routine before she hit the gym with her fellow group members.
Sana goes to the gym to do some weight training with her Twice group members and they perform different exercises like squats, deadlifts, pull-ups, etc. They perform these exercises 3-4 days a week.
Her cardio is mostly dancing but if you would like to include cardio in your workout program you should do exercises like running, swimming, jogging, skipping rope, etc. you can perform these exercises 4 to 5 days a week.
Make sure to warm up at least 10 minutes before starting any workout. You can warm up by walking, or doing jumping jacks, etc. Just make sure you prepare your body to avoid injuries.

Sana lost weight because of eating healthy and we all know that to lose weight we need to watch what we eat.
Although I have searched everywhere to find her diet plan, it was all in vain. But I think she started eating fewer calories so that she can be in a caloric deficit and this might have helped her to drop the weight.
Since we don’t have any information about her diet plan, I can provide you with some meal ideas that can help you drop some excess weight and be like Sana.
During breakfast, you can have two eggs, one slice of wholegrain toast, and a glass of Juice. Then for lunch take Chicken breast or salmon and add some Veggies. You can snake with some salads if you’re craving a snack
Then lastly for Dinner take Chicken or turkey and Veggies. The reason for too much chicken is because it contains protein and protein helps to keep you full for some time without craving.
