Salma Hayek won the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Directing in a Children/Youth/Family Special for The Maldonado Miracle in 2004 and received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series.

Apart from different awards for her great performances in the movies, she also has been actively working as an ambassador for different organizations. She did promotional work for Procter & Gamble, spokeswoman for Avon Cosmetics, and was also featured in Campari ads in 2006. Salma Hayek regularly showcases her incredible shape and fantastic physique on Instagram for her fans. She has kept her fabulous figure all those years with the practice of the best routine. She loves food and Smoothie Diet (fruits and Vegetables) is part of her daily routine. She loves organic food. Talking about her love for food and weight she said,

 “Everybody has a weakness (and) mine is food. If you love food and you love red wine and they put you in France, you’re in a good place and you’re in a bad place at the same time. You have to weigh yourself every day, and you have to have an alarming number. When you get to that number, you have to start putting it in reverse.”

She knows her craving for food but she also keeps an eye on her weight. She checks her weight regularly, so when she feels like putting on weight she stops talking about food that can add more weight. Rather focuses on her exercise and starts to diet again.  Though she doesn’t give a tough time to herself she has worked with a personal trainer Sara Shear’s owner of Ugifit.com. People with hectic working times find it difficult to give time for workout, however, Salma Hayek thinks of work out in a different way, she believes everything we do that helps move our body includes work out but you must know the tricks about where your muscles are activated, She said,

“I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long. So even when you brush your teeth, you’re working the muscles,” she said.

“It’s restorative yoga. She taught me how to tone [my muscles] without clenching them. You relax them and focus on the parts that need to be used, but never with tension. If you’re aware of your body, you’d be surprised by the effect it can have.”

However, it doesn’t mean that she didn’t work out. She had worked with her trainer for a longer period. She used to work out during her shoot, at home, in a hotel room. Her workout includes Pilates, ball work, kickboxing, and strength training. Her trainer said that she chooses diversified, consistent, and challenging exercises for her which gives her better results and develops her body. She continued,

 

“Salma is super smart and has so much drive! She always puts all her effort into her workouts and that’s the reason she gets results. I can’t say enough good things about her.”

 

However, Salma Hayek also admitted that she doesn’t do any workouts or exercise in the morning. She couldn’t make it a habit. She said,

“Some people have the discipline to exercise in the morning, and I didn’t develop that.
