During an interview on the Wendy Williams show, Kenan Thompson opened up about the reason behind his weight loss, he said he lost the weight so that he can live longer to see his children grow up.

When he was asked on the same show how much weight he lost Kenan replied that he is not sure of how much weight he lost because he didn’t plan to lose weight he just made some changes in his life like cutting out sugar and other unhealthy foods from his diet. 

After some time he started seeing the weight dropping down. That’s when he started adding in exercise and increasing his daily step count using an apple watch.
